KIDS
3pm-6pm Fridays during school term
Fri-Yay Hangz is a fun, friendly, safe space for boys and girls in school years 4-6 to hang out, enjoy games and snacks, and meet new friends after school on Fridays. Just come along!

Mainly Music (Shelley campus) is a fun music session for families with young children to enjoy together and grow developmentally.
At Mainly Music your young child will find delight in shared experiences, be accepted for who they are, and grow educationally. Come long this week and in no time, you’ll be not only enjoying time with your child, you’ll find friendship and encouragement. We aim to provide that village to help you raise your child. Come along.
Due to popularity, a waitlist has been setup for our Mainly Music sessions and we are no longer accepting walk-ins, all attendees will have to register online and receive confirmation prior to joining. To express you interest in joining our thriving community please fill out our expression of interest form below and our team will be in touch to confirm whether we have space for you.
KIDZONE is our Sunday morning ministry for children and runs at both our Shelley and High Wycombe campuses.
Kids aged 6 months to Year 6 are invited to join us in KIDZONE to engage and connect with the Good News of Jesus. We have a lot of fun, and we’re always welcoming new friends. Just check your kids in at the Check In Area before the Sunday service.

Girls’ Brigade (Shelley campus) assists the development of girls in their physical, social, educational, and spiritual lives. Girls attend once a week and participate in activities such as games, crafts, drama, cooking, sports, as well as basic spiritual truths. There are also camps, inter-company sporting events, and youth leadership training opportunities.
When: Wednesdays during the school term.

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS
Rivo Youth Sundays (RYS or "Rise"), is a place where high school-aged teens meet each week during the Sunday 10:30am service at our Shelley Campus. We have also launched RYS at High Wycombe, which runs on a fortnightly basis at the Sunday 9:30am services. At both campuses, we play games, learn from God’s Word, and discuss how we apply the Bible to our lives today.
Shelley: Sunday 10:30am service at 38 Modillion Ave, Shelley.
High Wycombe: Sunday 9:30am service at 24 Edney Rd, High Wycombe.
For high school aged teens, Youth Group is an exciting place of friendship, games, worship, food, and Biblical learning. We have a lot of fun every week — anyone in high school is welcome to attend. Bring a friend next time you come along.
When: Fridays during the school term, 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

Whether you’re working, studying, moving out, travelling, or navigating relationships, being a young adult is filled with what seems like constant change. In a time of new experiences and challenges, we seek to equip and empower young adults to make wise God-inspired choices that will set positive habits for life.
- Life Groups — grow in a more personalised space. Meet to encourage and be encouraged in groups of 5 – 15 people, whilst learning together how to follow Jesus and put that into practice.
- Events — enjoy a huge range of events including Sportsfest, Green Team, social nights, dinners, and other hangouts Keep up with Young Adults events through our Facebook page.
- Sunday Flow is our fortnightly social gathering for young adults. Are you working? At Uni or TAFE? Or just trying to make sense of it all? You'll find great friends to do life with at Sunday Flow.
MULTICULTURAL GROUPS
At International Friends, our focus is to help people from other parts of the world by providing a welcoming community of support and friendship where the love of Jesus can be experienced in practical ways. We share the gospel in a culturally sensitive manner, nurture spiritual growth, and help connect friends into our larger church family. International Friends gatherings include picnics, hiking, cooking classes, lunches, and more. If friendship, fun, and exotic food is your thing, come join us in this exciting part of Rivo!

We run free English Conversation Classes to help our international friends feel welcome in our community, and assist them in integrating to the Australian culture. This program is designed for people who would like to develop their conversational English skills. We have childcare facilities available during this time.
When: Thursday during the school term, 10am – 11:30am.
Where: Our church, 38 Modillion Ave, Riverton.
SENIORS
We run various events for seniors throughout the year which provide an opportunity for like-minded Christians to come together and enjoy fellowship whilst participating in fun activities. One of our regular gatherings is Midweek Communion, which runs once a month. Midweek Communion is a traditional service with hymns, prayer, and of course, communion.

MENS & WOMENS
Our Men’s Ministry is a social events-based program. It brings men of all ages and many cultures together for engaging talks, dynamic Bible studies, and good ol’ fashioned blokey fellowship. We discuss what it means to be a Christ-like man in today’s society, navigating topics such as leadership, marriage, parenthood, and more.

Riverton Baptist women gather for fun social events throughout the year. Our heart is to mobilise women of all ages and many cultures to bring positive change to their local and global communities. Be prepared to make deep and lasting friendships, and to be refreshed.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
Develop new skills and work on personal projects in a warm and friendly environment. Rivocraft is an opportunity for people to share and explore their God-given creativity, develop lasting friendships, and serve in a Christ-like manner.
