YOUTH MINISTRY (Part Time)

Riverton Baptist Community Church is a multicultural, multigenerational, multi-campus church in Perth, passionate about helping people follow Jesus. Our youth ministry is an important part of that mission.
The Role:
We’re seeking a Youth Ministry Team Leader to guide our high-school ministry. You’ll work alongside our supportive Next Generation team, and a committed team of volunteers, to help teens grow in their faith and encourage them to share Jesus with their peers. This is a part-time role with some flexibility in working hours to suit your schedule.
About You:
You love Jesus and enjoy connecting with young people. You might be a student, early-career ministry worker, or someone with more life experience—what matters is your heart for teens, your ability to work well with others, and your willingness to lead with warmth and enthusiasm.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Follows Jesus and aligns with our mission and values.
- Has, or is working toward, relevant qualifications (e.g. ministry, theology, teaching, youthwork etc).
- Has some team-leadership experience
- Communicates well with teens, parents, and leaders
- Is organised, collaborative, and open to learning
- Can obtain a WWCC, Police Clearance, and First Aid certification
- Has the right to work in Australia
